Rudy Nolen - Attorney
After graduating in 1968 from University of California, Berkeley, he attended McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento where he received his law degree in 1973.
As an associate, and
later a partner, with Bullen, McKone and McKinley, he completed more than thirty jury trials for clients such as Ford Motor Company, Chrysler Corporation, Rockwell International Corporation and insureds of Farmers, Allstate and State Farm. His cases were diverse, ranging from motor vehicle accidents to more complex matters involving product liability and defense of professionals, such as physicians, brokers and chiropractors.
By 1986, Rudy’s success as a trial lawyer and reputation for professionalism was acknowledged by colleagues in the Sacramento valley when he was voted into the American Board of Trial Advocates, regarded as one of the most distinguished trial lawyer organization in the United States. Rudy was later nominated by his chapter to serve as president in 1999. As chapter president, he participated on the California Board
of ABOTA, eventually becoming president in 2002. In 2010, his chapter acknowledged his skills as a civil trial attorney with the distinguished award of "Trial Lawyer of the Year".
Following the death of George Bullen in 1987, Rudy started a new firm and during
the next seven years, his trial experience expanded to included real estate fraud, child custody, medical malpractice and two complex plaintiff cases resulting in
six and seven figure verdicts in Los Angeles and Sacramento Counties.
In 1996 he started his own law firm providing the highest quality of services for clients.
